Default ITSS - NY (stone show)

Stopped by the Int'L Tile and Stone Show in NYC today and was NOT impressed. First off it was EMPTY and very few vendors. I was really dissapointed in the turn-out and would have been pissed if I had to pay to attend (it was Free) and would have been more pissed if I was a vendor.

I always try to get out to a few trade shows during the year. This was the second day and they said the attendance was the same yesterday.

Oh well. Beats being in the office. Did get out to see a few clients and looked at a job with 56 bathrooms we are doing a demo on next week, so it wasn't a total waste.

What kind of advertising did they do for that show?
I thought NY was big with tile/stone...that's what I get for thinking.

New York stone show suck. As a restoration guy there was absolutely nothing here for me. Most of the names on the roster were not here. Some people may say that the show was the biggest in New York. I guess they can say that because it was the only one. Everyone that I spoke to was not happy with the turn out; right down to the parking lot attendees. Just to let you all know now bad it was, I got to park my car for half the event price. I travel only fifteen min away and that was too much to travel for this crap I feel bad for all the guys who had to pay for a booth, I hope they get their money back. Picture this if you can. Four booths, all empty except for one, one both has four people can you tell me why? Yep, you guess it. They were all keeping each other company at one booth. I have a clip that shows how excite every one was to be there and........ you get it.
