Ted, If I remember correctly, didn't I send you a copy of my book...for free! Hmmmm.
Have you seen Maurizios. He sent me a pre pub edition. It is huge! Not sure if it is out there yet...

Mike,
Haven't seen Maurizio's and although you did send me a copy of yours, I was only able to skim it. As I recall, it was an electronic copy and I didn't use a laptop at the time. My book is not so much a how to of refinishing but more of a, as Andy said, a "how to not loose your ass" getting started in refinishing book. It takes the edge off and provides that information that most people need to take the plunge into our world. It's not a bible of stone, it's a "you can do this and with practice be good at it" book.
Anyways, send me your address. I do owe you a copy. Maybe you can offer some criticism. Thanks.

Here is a recently released book on stone care, written by my friend Ted McFadden who posts here ocassionally. I read it before it was published and I feel it is a great read for those of you just getting started. This will give you basic understanding and help you get going the right way.

Ted, Liked the book, read it the first night. Excellent photos and graphics really help make your point. Liked the way you articulated the "crystalization" issue, very well said, I totally agree. I think this would be a great guide to go along with a little training to remind the operators to stay on track with all the step by step procedures, and how to stay out of trouble, which can be one of the hardest results to achieve. Great work man!

Mike, thank you for this. Can you email me about a possible opportunity to represent your book in St Louis in October?
Thank again.
