Default Opinions on an Oreck Orbiter

For those that have one....What is your opinion of an Oreck Orbiter? Where do you find it most helpful and have you been happy with it?

lee,

I think they are great. I am on my second one now.
The first one took a dump after 5 years of use. I use it to buff the haze after color sealing
I think they have two models out. One is the commercial grade. I think its the XL. I have that one. Its a little more durable

Thumbs up

I too have an Oreck Orbiter XL Pro, it has been a great machine and small enough to get in behind toilets. I would highly recommend it.

Default Oreck Low Boy 9000

I bought the Low Boy 9000 for my main piece of equipment. It is Oreck's 17" Orbital floor machine. I use it to scrub with brushes and to buff with pads. It's a great machine if you need one that big.

Thanks for the input. Looking for something to fit in small places and the orbiter sounds like a good fit.

I also have an orbitor and find it to be another useful tool to have on board. I take it w/ me on just about every tile or stone job.

The Oreck 550MC only weighs 24lbs...is this heavy enough to do scrubbing and stripping jobs?

I only recommend small stripping jobs with this machine. The light weight means you have to go slower than normal. It does work if that is all you have.
